This year JLR Pride & Pinnacle guests will explore Norway and Sweden. This Nordic quest will start in Bergen, the second largest city in Norway, famously known as “the capital of the fjords.” The historic section of Bergen, called Bryggen, features colorful wooden houses on the old wharf. Taking the Fløibanen funicular railway is a must in order to see the panoramic views from top of Fløyen Mountain.

 

After two nights at the Bergen Børs Hotel, we will take a ferry north along the coast of Norway, passing  some of the most scenic views in the world. We finish our journey inland by car as we travel to Storfjord Hotel, a secluded luxury boutique hotel in Glomset, overlooking the Sunnmøre Alps. Our JLR group will enjoy exclusive use of this beautiful hotel where Norwegian traditions meet modern luxury.

 

After a night of tranquility in the forest, we will spend some leisure time at Storfjord or exploring Alesund. Following lunch, we will fly on a private charter to Kiruna for our final stop at the Icehotel in Jukkasjȁrvi, Sweden. The hotel and art exhibition are made of ice from the river Torne. Each year artists hand-carve a brand-new design for each cold room. The Icehotel is the perfect place for JLR guests to enjoy rustic wilderness the Swedish way.

With two nights at the Icehotel, you will have the opportunity to spend one night in the Ice Rooms, a truly surreal experience for the adventurous and hearty soul!
