The Icehotel
Jukkäsjarvi, Sweden
October 28th & 29th

The Icehotel in Jukkasjarvi is the world’s first and largest hotel built out of snow and ice. Every winter for the last three decades, there has been a new rendition of the beautiful concept of ice to art as the empty space on the riverbank turns into a magnificent hotel made of ice and snow.
Together, we will have time to enjoy the Arctic wilderness and experience unique activities. If you are an adventurous soul, you can choose to experience one night in the ice (cold) rooms, where temperatures are kept at 17 to 23 degrees Fahrenheit. The ice bed is covered with reindeer hides and you sleep fully clothed inside a thermal sleeping bag.
In the warm rooms, you will experience the simple traditional Scandinavian amenities found in this Artic Wilderness Camp. While the rooms are unpretentious, they provide a warm escape from the cold Nordic days and nights.
During your registration, you can decide if you are brave enough to choose a cold room for one night of your stay at the Icehotel. There are only 9 cold rooms with a private warm bathroom, so this is guaranteed on a first-come first served basis.
